The Malone Dining Table

As his historic hillside home neared completion, the last element my client needed was the perfect table.

I was approached to design a table that adhered to two conditions; achieve a mid-century aesthetic and work in tandem with the other collections of valuable art and design he had in his home.

I envisioned a table with long sweeping curves and an elliptical top; its legs were to be intricately shaped from Walnut with fine lines and an elegant flow.

Needless to say, he fell in love with the design. Over the subsequent months I carefully crafted the table and delivered it to his home in Oakland, CA where it now rests in the good company of iconic modern furnishings and the many family and friends who enjoy it.
